Executive Team

CEO, COO

Javier Martín is CEO, COO, and co-founder. After pursuing an MSc degree in Physics (Electronics), studies a DEA at the Université de Nancy in France. Later, he joins Stratchyde University in Glasgow (Scotland, UK) as a Research Assistant in the Computer Science department. Javier has a wide professional experience of several years in the ICT sector, having worked for Spanish companies like Meta4 or mCentric in positions ranging from Software Developer to Project Manager or SQA Manager. Javier has complemented his skills by becoming CSQE (Certified Software Quality Engineer) by the ASQ (American Society for Quality) and later proctor of the same association.

CTO

Juan J. Olmedilla is CTO and co-founder. He holds an MSc in Computer Science in Madrid Polytechnic Univ. He is currently a PhD candidate in the same University working on the automation of OO design procedures and code generation, which is to be applied in Almira Labs' Umbra JAIN development tool. Juan has more than 10 years experience in the telco and IT industry working for companies like Accenture (Spain), Nortel Networks (UK) and mCentric where he held positions as manager and CTO.

CMO

Miguel Monforte Nicolas is CMO and co-founder. He holds an MSc Telecommunications Engineering degree and the International MBA master degree from IE Business School. Miguel has worked during the last 7 years as Portfolio Manager and Pre-sales for the service provider’s software industry. He has extensive experience working with both wireless and wireline operators in Latin America, Europe and Africa.

CFO

Daniel Vicente Ippolito is CFO. He is a C.P.A. with more than 10 years experience in Auditing Services. He has extensive experience working in very tight markets in South America, carrying out successfully financial managements in commercial and industrial firms. He also holds various degrees in Export-Import Commerce.

Americas Sales Director

John Jaume brings 25 years of international telecom experience to Almira Labs and is responsible for sales activities for the Americas region. Before joining Almira Labs, John served in various sales management positions with innovative telecom technology companies including Glenayre Electronics, SmartTrust and Inopath Software, successfully selling strategic software solutions to major telecom operators including Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile USA, Telefonica and many others. Additionally, John held technology management roles with leading service providers including BT’s Concert Global Networks.
