Project Quality and Audit
Almira Labs, given its wide experience in Software development, can help its customers to identify problems in internally or outsourced development projects, to ensure their correct execution or at their completion, perform a software audit on the final software delivered to the customer. The areas usually included in this kind of project are:
- Software Requirements Engineering
- Projects for the definition and automation of Softwar Test cases based in Use Cases techniques
- Selection of proper software life-cycle tools (Project Tracking, Test, SCM, Change management...)
- Project Recovery. Analysis of on-going projects in crisis to propose solutions to put projects back on track and try to accomplish dates of quality levels as expected by the customer
- Software audits
This last area implies a series of processes described below.
Study phase:
- Business processes that involve the IT departments (development, SQA, Support...) are scrutinized to improve their connection with the general processes of the Business.
- Software process and life.cycle definitions are studied
- QA control processes over deliverables are studied
Audit phase:
- Software is analyzed regarding QA parameters like Metrics, Maintainability. Problems found are described and quantified
- Solutions are proposed in different temporal phases (short, medium and long term) in a Project Plan aligned with customer needs
Implementation phase:
- Our team starts implementing the solutions proposed or manages third-party teams that perform them
